the pursuit of happiness
today dr shankar told me that it doesn’t matter where you do medicine, because great schools don’t make great doctors, empathy and intellectual pursuit does. but right now, all i’m asking for is to get into one of the medical universities i applied to.
i’ve only got one life, i have to do it right and at the same time enjoy the journey along the way. i don’t know why the pursuit of happiness is such an arduous journey. just when you think you’ve gotten there, it slips right through.
